Actually, one of those put us out of farming. It's true that they only cost 29 cents (with tax). But, that was a lot of money back then. After all the work was done for about three years in advance, one day, Grampa went to shut it off and the HAL computer wouldn't let him. It sat there and ran and ran for about 40 years with gas spewing out the gas cap. (see previous lie about gas consumption) By the time the thing got sold, all the land for miles around was saturated with gas, couldn't grow a thing. We were able, however, to go get a tankful of gas for the jalopy just by digging a hole in the back forty good luck sod
