Dad almost bought a 4020 gas about 1980. Got a diesel 7700 Ford instead, thankfully. The 4020 would have a better value, but not in gas.....

I got a F gas as my first combine, second combine was a F2 diesel, fuel use was nearly half, i was carrying 5 gallon cans up to refuel so I was pretty aware.....
