My grand mother (From German emigrant parents) had "Victoria" roses in a planting 50 X 10 feet in her front lawn. She trans planted them from her mothers garden in about 1907. Her mother brought some root stock from Germany in the late 1800s with her possessions. Interesting. The stock is still going in my sisters yard. I have them in bloom as well, but mine are from Minnesota German friends. Jim
