I hit some tough sod and was packing the front end
for awhile after i took the weights off but it was only
for a small section so I worked through it . I’m
always adjusting weights heavier for hard ground
and lighter for drilling and cutting or raking hay. I
had 20 front weights at one time and pulling 5x16 it
would still pack the front end with the draft control
pulling up against those tough old hay roots
