454's also has the same bore with a 1/4" longer stroke than a 427 and the standard set of rings for them are moly. If it was a car engine it would have a larger bore and a shorter stroke like a 400 small block or a 409 that is- 4.310x3.5 366- 3.938x3.766 427- 4.25x3.766 454- 4.25x4.00
