Iam sorry it is a B J D. I will try what you said sounds very logical. I sent this carb to a specialist and it runs the same way pulsates at mid throttle and won't idle. this carb is like new inside and out. I have spent several Dallors on this B over hauling it bored 90 over with aluminum pistons. Very disappointed on how it runs. Thanks very much on the information. I will let you know the out come. Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
