Iam sorry that i didn't have the make of tractor it is a J D B. I have had some good responses and I think I have it figured out, the bowl is sucking air at the top and I have to put two gaskets on the bowl to stop this. When it sucks air arround the bowl it affects the idle. Thanks anyway. Fred

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
