We've had an 832 diesel since 1964. We have ploughed thousands of acres with it pulling 5-16's. 730 is same basic tractor with smaller engine. We have also had a 460 diesel for almost 30 years. The Case is heavier built and has more traction and I would say more lugging power. If the Case is a CK (65 and up) and has the original seat setup, you might want to throw that far away and put on a Grahmer or some other after-market one that you don't have to brace yourself to stay in the seat-especially when ploughing. Other than that its a good machine. The 460 is alright too, but just not as solid. Either one will start alright if you put 2-12V's in parallel instead of the 2-6V's in series.
