You're exactly right. All of those new electric devices you mentioned are part of what's responsible for the load already being placed on the electric grid. They are also responsible for the mining necessary to extract the minerals needed to mfg those transistors, the metals necessary for the other circuitry.......ALL of which falls directly in line with what I stated in my previous post.
That being said, if you can't actually discredit what was said, and you want to make a comment with negative connotations, I suggest thinking it through so you don't inadvertently help make the very point you want to discredit, as you did here.
