I don't see what you hope to gain, unless you butcher the hood. The nose of the hood has holes in it that slide over bosses protruding from the bolster casting. These bosses hold the pump in place, so the pump mounting bolts have to be removed to pull the hood anyway. You might consider putting hydraulic quick couplers of sufficient size on the pump so you can more easily remove and reinstall or reroute the plumbing for use without the loader, valve, and pump.
If you don't have a problem butchering the hood a bit, just cut the bottom of the hood holes out so it slips up off the bosses on the bolster casting. The hood is already made as a RH and LH sides so the pump shaft is no problem.------------Loren
