Radial tires outpull bias ply tires hands down. With the extra traction using additional rim rotting/paint peeling expensive liquid ballast is not required. Less weight reduces soil compaction & increases yeilds. Hauling less dead weight over the fields plus the reduced rolling resistance of radials reduces fuel burned.
Hundreds of tests by manufactures & independent labs show time & again radual tires are the only tire to use. Except for classic tractor restoration or pulling classes where radials are banned.
Dry tires with tubes repair punctures easy without a mess. No bead leaks to worry about.
