I was thinking maybe one of those big propane torches like we use to start brush pile. Maybe have a buddy beat the mound with a shovel to get em to come up, hit em with the torch. After you get all you can, have the buddy start digging the mound up and torch all the rest as they charge to defend the mound. Think that would work? Dad made a torch on the cheap from pipe fittings and a needle valve instead of buying one. He drilled a small hole in a pipe plug for an orfice. Good luck!!!
