Yeah, most JD 8440 and 8640 tractors in Western New York as tank spreader tractors. Some of them looked pretty good yet when I saw them. Dairies would run them a couple seasons until they needed a lot of work or tires then dump them after finding a replacement. By the way I think that AC finally got its act together when they came out with the 8000 series but it was too late. As every AC dealer around here said they should have been out several years earlier when the ag economy was much stronger.
