Might be causing a problem. Might not be causing a problem. We don't know where the father is at mentally. He might be sharp as a tack. He might be using poor judgement. I could see pushing to sell if it was creating a serious problem that might even jeopardize his life or others. Is the father taking the tractors off the property and onto a public road where he or somebody else could get hurt. I've seen mentally compromised people get surrounded with the local wolves of the community who are either stealing from him currently or will be a huge legal problem when they get hurt on the old man's property. People are quick to criticize the OP but he may be doing what is right in this situation.
