Missed posting on the other thread about doing scary things, but have one for here. Several years ago, when my father-in-law was alive, was renting some land about six miles from home. After harvest, had my f.i.l. take me there, in his Dodge Aries, so I could bring the older Massy swather home. I pulled out on the road with the swather, the old boy right behind, went a little ways and started down a slight grade. Of course the swather didn't want to turn a little bit to stay on the road, and the ditch was getting ever closer. Finaly decided to stop, but instead turned the stearing wheel hard right, and the colum back too far, for those who are not familiar with the set up, back on the colum is REVERSE! did a complete 180 degree turn, istantly! don't know who was more surprised, or whos mouth was open the widest, but there we were, looking at each other! Surely did feel stupid!
