The ash borer epidemic started here. I am on my second generation of ash trees since the big ones all died. Current trees that suckered off the roots are 15-20' tall. The borers have returned and these trees are now dying off also. Eventually, I suspect, something is going to evolve to eating ash borers and their grubs. When that day comes a few trees will survive maybe, or they will wipe out their food source and be gone. Hope so.
