Just how cold is 'cold' where you are? Some people consider 25 degrees to be terribly cold, while others think it's not bad unless it's below zero.... If it is near or below zero, some hydraulic oils just take some time to warm up. You could talk to your dealer about possibly using synthetics an so on if this tractor gets used every day in bitterly cold weather. Most likely warming it up, changing the oil & filter, and giving it a little time to warm in very cold weather (or plugging in a magnetic heater) is all you'll need. :) --->Paul
