The Concrete was allmost 1,200.00 because I poured in the winter and it cost more for a hot mix allmost 14 yrds in it. Next time I am going to pour in the summer I had to put 10 bales of straw (fluffed) on it with plastic to protect it during the cure. It was nice out till the pour was done and then it droped to 14 degs out!! Like my wife says you can't wait you allways haft to do it as fast as you can. She is right I was tired of waiting for winter to be over and had to get the concrete done befor the roads thawed and road restrictions were put on due to the weight. We get good prices for wood in big timber country you should too in Maine. Mark H.
