If it's smooth, grind or sandblast to roughen
Thoroughly wash with acetone
Prepare shaped reenforcementt patches ahead of time
Use Epoxy resin because it doesn't shring, polyester shrinks up to 10%
Slop resin onto resined surphace
Apply reenforcement patch and place polyethelene over the piece.
Push patch into resin and smooth
Remove poly when resin has hardened
Build up as necessary
reenforcement may be cloth, matting or fiberglass window screne.
After building up reenforced patch from back side, and curing,
Grind out and fill front side with resin or fiberglass reenforced Bondo type material.
Grind and sand as needed
Apply Gel cote - plastic credit cards make real good spreaders for the gel cote.
