My first tractor,a 1936 F-12,my brother and I bought at my BIL's fathers auction in 1985 or so.The auction was in Oxford,OH and I drove that,at 3 mph, home. The trip was about 8 or 10 miles.but I didn't care!We bought that, with grass cutting money, for $350.We also lived in town, but the nieghbors didn't mind, one was a retired farmer who told us stories about HIS f-12,and the other nieghbor was a Hippie who went to Miami U and thought it was "Far Out"!My second tractor,an Allis B,I won at the Southwest Ohio Antique Tractor and Power Association annual show in Eaton,Oh.Last year the raffle tractor was an Allis C,They said I wasn't allowed to buy tickets for it!
