Uncletom, I am also 64 will be 65 in November. As you say I can very well at distance in full light but walk into a room without lights on its hard to read anything. Seeing the marking on wrench is very hard for me so I added mylar stickers with the sizes and that helps lot but they come off occasionally and then finding the etched or stamped size is very difficult. always have flashlight or magnifying glass with me. Reading price stickers in a store is difficult also. The shots in the eye definitely help with keeping from getting worse October will be my forth, and they are once a month now but if thing go well that time will be lengthened between shots.
