Your hauling would be maximum width, length and weight capacity determine trailer manufacture recommendation label. You may find trailer rental at the trailer dealer. Look for implement trailer dealer. Your half ton or larger would be enough for two 3500 or 5000lbs axles. An 16 to 18' trailer could be recommended.The 2 5/16 ball hitch with 1 1/4 threads weight strngth for 12,000lbs. A 1 1/4 threads with 2 5/16 ball weight capacity limits to 6500lbs. I have a special ordered trailer which is 20' with 7 feet between fenders, 12,000 capacity and some other options from northern indiana manufacturing. My half ton pick up is great for hauling my JD 60 with my New Toyota full-size Tundra V8. Craig
