To me that would be some type of Machete. This is the Corn knife me and my dad would use to open the first round of a corn field. You would reach down and pull upwards. That thing would cut right through a stalk slick as can be. Four rows wide and we would hand feed it into the chopper. This is the original knife hanging on my kitchen wall alog with a bale hook, old mercury thermometer, grain scoop, two man saw, and some other farm odds and ends. Over in the corner there is an original calf feeding pail.
