I believe one reason for differing opinions on additives and ethanol is attributed to loacation and weather conditions. Warm-cool cycles cause the tank inhale and exhale air on every cycle. If humidity is low not much happen's,humid conditions ruins fuel and can also rust tank. I carry spare tires for trailers and rarly use one. I carry insurance but rarly use it. Average humidity in central Tx ranges from 75% in Houston to 66% in Dallas. Annual average 80f temperature normally rise and fall 20f in 12 hours and often 25F. I treat gas and still have problems. I'd hate to think what might happen if I didn't. Do any of you that never treat and don't have trouble live with annual average 80f and 70% ?
