We sold the 100+ milking herd in the spring of 2018. there was a full heifer barn of daughters from the cows that we have whittled down to 24 now. one is a Hereford that will stay to raise her calf when she calves in December, and she may need a roommate by spring. no more dairy animals, though, after having the same cow families, some since 1961.
