Hi, C.C. what kind of post puonder do you have? I have one of the old Lindens, no problem driving posts by myself, even the old cable tool one that I built years ago is/was a one man unit. With the Linden, one can lock the hammer in the raised position, while you get the post where you want it, then you can hold it with one hand while dropping the hammer a few short strokes to get started, then just a matter of whacking it in. Works great for me and it isn't a bit "unsafe" either! have a gooder, R.E.L.
