I wouldn't be worrying your self into knots just yet, the snow has hardly fallen this month at all, im in the snow clearing bizz, amd my hopes for white gold arn't all that high for feb.

Does your tractor have a 3pth ??? chains aside, you need some weight on the back to balance out the load on the front, thats why you don't have any traction.
