Mike - The only 6 volt components I replaced on the S-180 were all lamps, the flashers, the two speed compensating gizmo on the speedometer and the radio. Discovered the gages operate on 4.5 volts supplied from a regulator in the dash - and the regulator doesn't care whether it's supplied 6V or 12V. Left the elecric wiper motor "as is" - it ran too slow anyway on 6 volts, and seems to work fine on 12. And by leaving the 6V heater motor, on "high" the fan now blows heat (and sounds...) like a hand dryer in the men's room - nice on cold days! (Not certain how long the blower might last however - the truck only gets used in summer.) 6 volt horns seem to work fine on 12 volts too.
