I can relate. I have a 96 Town and Country that I had to replace the torque converter at 40k and then had a major transmission overhaul at about 70k. This vehicle has never towed anything, though it does encounter a lot of stop and go use. I was aware of tranny problems with their minivans before buying this, but was led to believe that they got their act together in 94. No way.

I've historically driven Mopar, but I'll avoid the automatics in the future. Oh for the return of the days of the 727 Torqueflites....

If your dealership told you that they weren't aware of tranny problems, he'll probably also tell you that O.J. was framed by the cops....
