At the plow day I attended, they just asked that you had a 4 bottom plow or less, and a 1960 or older tractor. It seemed like a big field to me but we were done before lunch. Then when we were done, a modern 200hp Deere with some kind of finish tool went over everything we did in what seemed like a matter of minutes and made a nice looking field out of it.
They were all about having a good time. I had just finished restoring my plow. I didn't know how my G would do with it or how the plow would do, but the organizer told me "don't worry about it. We're here to have fun". Really set me at ease.

Today's Featured Article - Oliver 550 Purchaser Checklist - by Greg Sheppard. Pound for pound the 550 is better than anything I've seen. It has great power for its size and can really hunker down and lug. Classified as a 3-bottom plow depending on soil conditions.
