Mine is a 1971 Ford 100 (Jacobsen built) lawn tractor with a 42" mower deck and a 4' sickle bar mower. I bought it when I worked for Ford and had an employee discount. When I opened the crate with the sickle mower the manual said, "Sickle bar for your Jacobsen Chief Tractor". WHA-A-A-A? Over the years I bought wear items based on which dealer had a better price. Our oldest son bought a house 10 years ago and used it to mow his 2 acres until he bought an NAA from me and we found him a Woods RM600 3 point finish mower. During the period my son had it his sons did a cleanup and partial repaint and received a first place for best restoration by "young people" at our annual tractor club show. The Ford 100 is retired and is back in my barn. It has not been run in over 8 years. Project waiting.
