Case 830 diesel case-O-matic. Torque converter drive is what all the big loaders use, heavy enough to do most work even without front assist. Fuel efficient and lots of power. The biggest shortcoming is the power steering is not the greatest, but if you install a 70 series hydraulic pump and plumb the steering into it it is pretty good. And you can get a nice one with loader for 5-6,000.00. That is if you can get someone to sell one, most that have one say it will be the last tractor to leave so they are a little hard to find.
