One of the women from my Dalmatian board who lives in an upscale part of the Carolinas was talking last year of horse hay pushing $17/bale :eek: For that price, *I* could make a living as a farmer! Well horse people as is are finicky on hay, from what she said their "coastal hay" was particularly poor so hay was imported from further inland then local farms...
