I would not be worried about the corona virus out of china. It's likely to burn itself out over there and unlikely to get a foothold in the U.S. due to precautions already in place.
Here's what you should actually worry about regarding contagious, seasonal disease. The common flu (influenza) kills tens of thousands of Americans each year. The number varies from around 10k to 60k depending on the severity of that year's strains.
It is irrational t to worry about corona virus in China when you have a much more deadly virus present each year in the U.S. and free access to an effective prophylactic for that virus.
The most vulnerable populations for influenza in the U.S. include infants, pregnant women and those 65 years and older, and people of any age with certain chronic medical conditions (such as asthma, diabetes, or heart disease).
My advice, quit getting worked up about a corona virus in China, and GO GET YOUR FLU SHOT!
