That would be a nice plant to see as well. They fired it up for us,a guy opened an air valve and when it was running on its own he turned the valve off. They said it only runs at 450 rpm. It was pretty loud but not too bad. There’s only around 10-12 000 people in Summerside and only 1 production facility in the city which happens to be a cheese/fluid plant. They have their own backup power. In the summer if there’s an outage the 5 generators can handle the entire city but in winter when lots of heating loads are being used they have to do rolling blackouts to keep everyone warm.
