I got the starter off by removing the left side motor mount that runs the length of the motor. There are 6 or 8 bolts that hold it on. You will need to put a floor jack under the motor and a block of wood to lift the motor up. You will have to loosen and remove the 2 rubber bushings between the mounts. Also remove the exhaust pipe. Then after you test the starter, mine was ok, :shock: you start trying to figure out what fuse,relay,diode,safety switch, wire etc is keeping it from starting. Then you put a button on the tractor to bypass the electrical issue that cannot be found and start your tractor with that. Have a nice day.
