When the tractor starts loosing power going uphill in 5th, I down shift into 3rd and the power starts coming back up. It seems like the problem begins about 30 minutes into mowing, meaning the entire tractor is now up to full temp. Does it less on a cooler evening. 5th is the worst. If I downshift into 4th before I start going uphill, it doesn’t lose power. So naturally I make a point of down shifting into 4th. But, that really isn’t solving the mechanical problem.
