pretty hard that way if your talking going forward. I have the bucket on a 45 degree angle and back up slowly. don't forget this is not a grader. when the front wheels go over a bump the bucket will raise and once you get a few waves in the gravel then pretty much impossible to get flat again. best is to use a road drag once you get it spread out with bucket. plus the depth of gravel determines how hard the job is. if a gravel truck spread it then half the battle is done.
