This is week 2 of 2020 Super Duty 6.7L Diesel.
I only have 1 regret, it looks like they raised the bed another 3-4 inches over my old one. I could just get my foot up on bumper and climb into box on old one, this one is real tough. I made it, but might not as I get older. I should have got the steps. It is getting ridiculous how high the beds are getting, I can hardly see into it, and hard time climbing in.
Mileage is about 21 downwind and 19 upwind, so still about 2.5-3 MPG better than my 2016. It is scary fast on acceleration with virtually no turbo lag. It seems to peg out about 32-35 PSI on boost during full acceleration, versus 27, so that is where the extra torque is.
Idle is noisier on this one with a definite injector rap that the old one did not have. I guess with the added compression there is only so much they can do. The exhaust is much more throaty on this one, maybe there is less restriction.
I think the fuel capacity has been upgrade to 30 gallons, a full tank shows up with range of 550 miles. The 24 on the old one was a beef of mine.
