Hi all, I was operating our IH 383 and all of a sudden it went BANG! It still drives, but it's rattle clunk and I didn't drive more then necessary. Clutch in noise stopped. Noise is constant knocking. 4wd makes no difference whether on or off. History - we're the 3rd owners. Only starting second set of tyres from new. Around 2100 hours. We use it extensively for forestry. We have fitted a FEL about 4 months ago. We did top up the oil to correct level to accommodate fel. Rebuilt front diff not long ago. Obviously this is our most useful tractor and want to fix it but would like some direction! Any help appreciated! Thanks Joshua
It's the second tractor in photo, first is DB 780. Fyi it took our 8 ton Clark 664 skidder to get it out!
