Here in this country right now, we have grain, meat, and milk prices crashing to well below the cost of raising those products, while store shelves are empty and some price increases, perhaps price gouging, is going on.
Packers are swimming in money right now as they pay less for beef on the hoof, and are charging retailers more for it.
Similar with milk.
Grain farmers work on a yearly budget so the same effects take longer to show up.
It high living if you are a middle man right now. This pandemic is allowing you to buy low and sell high.
Not so great for the actual producers or the folks trying to buy stuff.
