thank you! I'll most likely drain and change fluid but for sure the filter. I may get lucky with local NAPA, Auto Zone etc. picking one up. Would this have any effect on the lack of a "float" feature?
I can drop the arms quickly and smoothly and it floats but as soon as I adjust the bucket to back-drag, the arms firm-up and even start applying down pressure and won't go back into float.
I have the 3 levers next to the dash, with the smallest 3rd lever having the thumb button (it operates the quick-hitch). The largest/inside lever operates the arms. When I drop the arms, the handle stays ahead just a bit, not full forward, but it snaps back to the neutral center and I lose my float. I try to put it back where the float was and it applies down pressure.
Does that make sense and why would this be?
