The adjustment on the control valve...
I see a boat load of exposed threads that will push the control valve in rather FAR = your to high issue its bottoming out way before the quadrant reaches top of travel ... As you shorten the link it will make the lift drop lower (control valve able to move out farther)
If you ever go back into it you can work the quadrant and see how it functions... Don't get caught up in all this adjustment garbage its rather simple LOOK at the control valve where its at at the upper and lower limit in relation to the quadrant and how it feels...
Once satisfied run the adjuster out 2 to 4 turns life will be good...
