Scotty , Which county are you in ? Mitch Danials upset are prioperty tax system , And there are not enough Farm Boy Legislature Folks in INDY to change it Right. what gets us in trouble is when the run down place next to you gets bought , bulldoxed and someone builds a 250,000 house next to Your place ,..Now You live in a upscale neighborhood because the property next to you is more value able , So in Theory Your place is worth More . Therefore Your taxes ratchet up ... And of Course The worst thing about Mitchs' is INDEXING ! ..Even Though THere is a state Law saying Property Tax cannot increase no more that 1half of a percent per Year ,.. It is tied to indexing . If your assessment Goes up You are charged Tax accordingly .. And That is where FARMERS are being TAKEN to the cleaners ,. And the rich People in the doughnut counties around Indy get a break . this is long , i could talk it easier than write it .. But You Need to be a STate Rep or Senator Scotty
