We have the 4020 Powershift and the 4010. The powershift is really nice to mow and bale with so my wife gets that one. Years ago we started out at mom’s place with the JD 2440. The fields were flat there. Our fields have some slope and getting additional 25 HP moved me up past the 3020 size. Gravity and a fully loaded wagon is no problem for these guys. I wouldn’t go smaller.

Today's Featured Article - Oliver 550 Purchaser Checklist - by Greg Sheppard. Pound for pound the 550 is better than anything I've seen. It has great power for its size and can really hunker down and lug. Classified as a 3-bottom plow depending on soil conditions.
