Nice picture. Here's a pict. of the last old bridge over apple river ( I think) in Daviess co. Northern Illinois. The next modern bridge down stream, early 50s, washed out in 2017. Next bridge down stream is a newer one. It replaced an old iron one, it used to be the local swimming hole. It was pretty deep, we used to jump off the deck, a couple guys off the top, not me.
