May be, but in my part of KS a bootleggers turn is best done on sand. You drive medium speed in the right lane then suddenly crank the wheel to the left hard and romp the gas. The back end fishtails around and if done correctly you are pointed the other way and still moving forward. Tons of fun to do with someone else's car. Last time I idd it with my own car the tubeless tires on the rear (both of them) broke the beads and went flat. I was DRT - dead right there. Prolly not what they want to see on the driving test.
