It takes a few days for it to work; But I have had good luck with RM43.
RM43 is just another generic roundup. It has 43% Glyphosate. But it also has 0.78% Imazapyr.
Care should be taken with Imazapyr because while it is a contact killer like roundup; unlike roundup it also works in the soil. It works as a per-emergant to stop new growth AND it will also kill a tree threw the roots if you spray it around a tree.
If you are looking for something to kill the grass around a tree so you do not need to string trim around it you should use pure 43% Glyphosate not RM43. RM43 is also not the product you would use to burn down some place like a garden or flower bed area where you want to plant something just after burn down. You should also choose pure 43% Glyphosate here also.
Depending on your soil PH and amount of rain fall RM43 will last the entire growing season in the soil.
