I have dexta which leaked from rear crank seal and Used multigrade to top up until one day the drum was empty and the only oil available was Fuchs HDX30 which I keep for sawbench engine So I topped it up with HDX30 and the leak stopped I would never put oil additive in my engines Is engine breather clear?
