I have a one acre field to plow and I want to start in the middle of the field this time. I don't know a good way to start this. Do you just throw the first furrow on top of the ground in each direction? That leaves quite a big area of unplowed ground. I have tried throwing that first furrow back and forth but that just makes a mess. I will be using my BN Farmall with a 16 inch single bottom trip rope plow so nothing fancy. Any good methods to do this? Thanks. Dave
